Welcome to Nebraska Online Voter Registration

  • You may use the voter registration portal to:
    • Register to vote in Nebraska
    • Verify your existing voter registration record
    • Change your residential address or mailing address on your voter registration record
    • Affiliate with a party or change your party affiliation
    • Change your name on your voter registration record
  • You may register to vote if you:
    • Are a citizen of the United States;
    • Are a resident of Nebraska;
    • Will be 18 years of age on or before the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of the current calendar year;
    • Have not been convicted of a felony, or if convicted, you have completed your sentence for the felony, including any parole term; AND
    • Have not been officially found to be mentally incompetent.
If you are a participant in Nebraska's Address Confidentiality Program, please do not use the online voter registration application. Instead, contact your county election official.
Please have your driver's license or state identification card available before you begin this application. To vote at the polling place on Election Day, the completed application must be submitted on or before the third Friday before the election.

The penalty for a Class IV felony is up to two years imprisonment and twelve months post-release supervision, a fine of up to ten thousand dollars, or both.
